Group therapy is when a number of people meet with a therapist, altogether, on an ongoing basis. Some people prefer group therapy because it allows for a unique social experience unlike one-on-one therapy. Group therapy typically consists of 4-10 members. Some people prefer to only attend group therapy, while others attend both group and individual sessions. Below we offer a brief explanation of the types of group therapy our office offers.
Beginning in the spring of 2021, this small group hosted by the clinic's Owner and Clinical Director Katie Schermerhorn, will cover topics such as harm reduction, emotion regulation, relationship repair and recovery. Please contact admin@refreshedwellness.ca to reserve your spot.
