Katie has been practicing counselling and therapy since 2012. She began her career in social services, where she did community outreach, crisis work and individual counselling and psychotherapy for people struggling with mental health and addictions issues. 


She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology and has also completed a Certifi


 

Katie has been practicing counselling and therapy since 2012. She began her career in social services, where she did community outreach, crisis work and individual counselling and psychotherapy for people struggling with mental health and addictions issues. 


She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology and has also completed a Certificate in Addictions as a post-grad from Laurier University. She attended Yorkville University for her Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology. She has been trained to deliver many different therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Skills, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, Brainspotting and EMDR for trauma/PTSD.


She has a keen interest in working with First Nations clients and has completed many trainings specific to holistic, culturally-informed treatment. This includes addictions treatment for both substance use and behavioural addiction (video games, pornography,. 


Katie is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and a member of the Ontario Association Of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP).

 Rebecca is a master’s level Social Worker, as well as a Certified Trauma Practitioner, who has been practicing since 2007. Utilizing both cognitive and somatic based interventions,  Rebecca supports individuals in understanding how their life experiences have impacted their day-to-day functioning, relationships and overall wellness.

Utilizing both cognitive and somatic based interventions,  Rebecca supports individuals in understanding how their life experiences have impacted their day-to-day functioning, relationships and overall wellness.
Rebecca has also worked extensively with caregivers and families, supporting them through their children's mental health challenges, navigating significant life events, creating plans to respond to challenging behaviours and coping with parent/adolescent conflict.


Rebecca is certified and offering the Safe & Sound Protocol at this time. 
 Rebecca acquired her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work at McMaster University. Rebecca also possesses the following certification and/or training: 

  • Trauma Practitioner via the National institute for Trauma and Loss in Children.
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy through Laurier University.
  •  Brainspotting via PESI 
  • Emotion Focused Family Therapy
  • Safe and Sound Protocol Certified Provider through Unyte

Holly specializes in helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, grief and loss, relationship struggles, and couples concerns. Her approach is practical, collaborative, and focused on helping clients build effective coping skills, gain insight, and experience lasting emotional relief.

She uses evidence-based therapies tailored to each person’s unique needs, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). EMDR is a highly effective therapy that helps clients process difficult experiences and reduce symptoms related to trauma, anxiety, depression, phobias, anger, addiction, and grief. In addition to the above modalities, Holly has also completed advanced professional training in:

Alex is a Registered Psychotherapist. She completed her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, and holds both a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from McMaster University as well as a graduate certificate in Brain Disorders Management from Mohawk College.

Her previous experience working with clients of varying ages has allowed her to continue to develop and enhance an understanding of the uniqueness and complexity of individuals with mental health needs, as well as individuals with autism. Alex is an ally of the LGBTQ2+ community and an advocate for women’s rights, and she is passionate about helping clients move towards a healthier, happier state of being through various techniques.


Alex acknowledges that there is no “one-size-fits-all” approach to therapy, and believes that individuality should be valued and encouraged. Remaining person-centered, she enjoys working with her clients to discover the therapeutic approach that will serve them best and enhance their life.

Amber is a Registered Psychotherapist. She is completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Linguistics as well as a Masters of Clinical Science in Speech Pathology.


Amber was previously a Speech-Language Pathologist where she worked with adults, children, and families facing various speech, language, and literacy challenges. She has experience providing and adapting therapy for neurodivergent individuals and working with clients, their families, and caregivers during traumatic brain injury, concussion, and stroke rehabilitation. Amber has an extensive background working in schools, hospitals, and community programs.


Amber believes in meeting her clients where they are at and developing a strong relationship as the foundation to success in therapy. She is passionate about providing culturally responsive, inclusive, affirmative, and trauma-informed approaches rooted in compassion and non-judgment. She understands the power of collaboration and aims to hold space for clients to increase resilience and reach therapeutic goals.

Sarah believes that the therapeutic relationship is based on building connection and trust as well as offering practical tools that clients can use to achieve their goals, whatever they may be.  She is empathetic, curious and enjoys learning from the clients she services.  Sarah achieved her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology in 2002, a Bachelor of Social work in 2008 as well as a Master's of social work in 2017.  She is a registered Social Worker in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.

Lexi is a Registered Psychotherapist.  She has completed her Master of Art's in Counselling Psychology and also holds a  Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. Lexi has experience working with individuals of diverse backgrounds and various ages.
